I love the internet.
The other day, a friend of mine showed me a clip on Youtube called Dr. Tran. I have to say it was freaking hilarious, if perhaps not safe to show in class (at least with the sound on...no wait, I forgot there was text, too). There is just so much stuff on the internet today, and a lot of it is FREE. And hilarious. Free and hilarious.
Take Newgrounds.com, for instance. An entire website for flash movies and games, and it's all free. Dr. Tran, as well as other more mainstream fun like Red vs. Blue, even sell DVDs of the stuff that's free to view online. And the crazy thing, I would buy their DVDs, if only for the sheer pleasure of watching the hilarity in higher resolution (also, if I had money).
Then there's all the streaming video portions of TV channel websites, so that most of the time, you don't even need cable to watch your favorite shows. Watch them legally, I mean. Everything is available on the internet. Granted, a lot of the content you may not want (or even want to know existed), but it's there. I wonder if the accessibility of things will eventually lead to mankind's downfall. I wouldn't be surprised.
...For more Dr. Tran, there's also Dr. Tran & the TOY CACK and Dr. Tran Summer Splash. There's some more, but they're not quite as funny.
